Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning is an exfoliation procedure that involves gently scraping the skin with a medical-grade scalpel to remove the very top layer of skin. Dermaplaning helps to remove the dead skin cells and fine vellus hairs, also known as peach fuzz, leaving the face smooth and flawless. During exfoliation, new skin is revealed by stimulating the growth of new skin cells – sometimes called a scalpel facial. The result? A more youthful appearance!
Dermaplaning can help improve:
- Acne scars
- Sun-damaged skin
- Dull skin
- Dry skin
- Fine lines and wrinkles
The Dermaplaning procedure will leave your skin’s surface smooth, youthful, and radiant, without harsh chemicals, pain, or downtime. Dermaplaning involves light feathery strokes and is completely pain free. Many clients actually find it relaxing. You will be able to get back to your social activities immediately after your treatment – just don’t forget the appropriate SPF to protect your fresh skin from the sun! We usually recommend having a Dermaplaning treatment every four weeks to maintain your results.
