Kristen Joyner is the founder of Lexington Aesthetics. She is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with over 5 years of experience in aesthetics. Kristen is known for cultivating trusting relationships with her clients and delivering natural, transformative results. She graduated with a Master’s Degree in Nursing in 2016 from Frontier Nursing University and began her nurse practitioner career in physical medicine. With a history of struggling with her own personal skin concerns, she became passionate about skincare in her early 20’s, which eventually led her to her true calling in aesthetics. Before earning her nurse practitioner degree, Kristen worked as a registered nurse in areas requiring fine attention to detail, including the emergency department and intensive care unit. She has a unique ability to connect with her clients and make the aesthetic journey feel much less intimidating. 

Kristen loves getting to know her clients one on one and understanding their lifestyle and desires so she can provide the best, customized treatment plan. Kristen married the love of her life, Todd, in 2014, and they have lived in the Lexington area for the past 8 years. She can’t imagine calling anywhere else “home”. In 2021, they became proud parents of a little girl, Addie. She enjoys fitness, traveling, and spending time outdoors in her free time.
